WEDDING VENUES
I think being a wedding photographer in Gloucestershire is an absolute dream. In fact the whole of the UK is just full of beautiful venues from the great Castles and Manor houses, to the sheik, modern venues in and around the cities. With so many to choose from it can be hard deciding where to get married or have a reception. They are everywhere across the county, with some hidden little gems, here are a few of my favourite local venues.
Westonbirt House – Tetbury – A manor house on the grandest scale with some of the best kept gardens in Britain including the Italian Gardens. My personal favourite (although I am getting married here myself so I would say that). A real dream for a bride and groom, and a real dream for a photographer in Gloucestershire. Clearwell Castle – Forrest of Dean – A very popular venue, winner of Best Wedding Venue 2010. It has everything, including beautiful accommodation this venue speaks for itself. www.brideshead.co.uk
Manor by the Lake – Cheltenham – You will not believe you eyes when you see this venue. You lose all sense of being in Cheltenham and could be anywhere you wished. The decor in the house is spectacular. www.manorbythelake.co.uk
Eastnor Castle – Leadbury – Overwhelm your senses in this richly coloured venue. It has so much to see inside you could walk around for hours. Another phenomenal venue for wedding photography. It also has accommodation and overlooks a beautiful lake. www.eastnorcastle.com
Cotwolds 88 – Painswick - A very contemporary and very luxurious venue and setting, this place is amazing, I defy any wedding photographer in Gloucestershire not to get exited shooting here. www.cotswolds88hotel.com
Hotel Le Spa – Cirencester – Again, great value if you have around 60 guests. This venue is another contemporary, modern interior within a stunning manor house. There are so many photograph opportunities here it feels like a fashion shoot. If funky is your thing, try here. www.lespa.com
Dumbleton Hall - Nr Evesham – The approach to this venue is superb as are the rest of the grounds. I thoroughly recommend going to view this venue and it's not as expensive as you would expect. www.dumbletonhall.co.uk
Sudeley Castle – Winchcombe – Needs no introduction, even Liz Hurley got married here, go and see the gardens weather you're getting married or not, simply stunning scenery, any photographer in Gloucestershire loves shooting here. www.sudeleycastle.co.uk
Hotel On The Park – Cheltenham – This hotel overlooking Pitville Lawn has a real touch of class. Perfect for around 60/70 guests its decor is contemporary and plush, a real touch of class. Perfect for a creative wedding photographer in Cheltenham. www.thehoteluk.co.uk
Cowley Manor – Cowley nr Cheltenham – As a wedding photographer in Cheltenham I have to say that Cowley Manner is another of my favourites. The view out of the back of this exclusive Manner house is unforgettable. From top to toe, this venue is superb. www.cowleymanor.com
