Q & A’s
Below are a few popular Q and A’s that you may find helpful.
How do we book you?
Simply request a contract to read, sign and send back to me. Once a booking fee of £400 has reached my account then I shall back a copy of the contract with my signature added. Unfortunately I cannot reserve your date without a signed contract and booking fee.
Can we meet you before we book?
Absolutely! I actively encourage this and would love to to meet for a chat about your wedding and wedding photography, although I understand its not always possible as I take booking from lots of people booking from abroad.
And what about meeting before the wedding?
This is included in every package and i recommend it is scheduled in advance for about 1 to 2 months ahead of the wedding so that all details where possible for the wedding are finalised.
How long do you stay for?
On average I will stay for ten hours allowing me to capture your preparations and some of the dancing!
Do you have a second photographer?
I prefer to photograph a wedding myself especially with guest numbers below 150. I can even cover both bride and grooms preparations successfully when logistically sensible. That being said I do have access to second photographer but only bring in other reliable professionals. Please ask for further details.
How many images will we receive?
All edited images which will be upwards of 500
Do you have insurance?
Yes I have have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance
Do you provide black and white images?
I love colour and monochrome. I photograph in colour but individually edit each file to maximise its impact whilst baring in mind you will have spent a lot of time deciding on the colours for your wedding.
A few questions that are never asked and always should be are:
What happens if you drop your camera or experience a malfunction?
Thats never a problem for myself or any other professional as we shoot on more than one camera and have spares with us too, same goes for flash guns and lens’. This is only an issue for new comers and ‘semi pro’s’and there are plenty of them so please ask the question and protect yourself.
Can I see some full weddings you’ve photographed?
Of course, see as many as you wish, I’m more than happy to evidence that the quality and consistency of my work.
